Product Engineer Operations
As Product Engineer Operations you will be responsible for proposing, launching and guiding improvement actions focused on our product, throughout the lifecycle, and ensures adequate monitoring and reporting of these actions. You are part of a Customer Focus Team and works closely together with the Line Manager, Manufacturing Engineer and QA engineer and CAD engineers.

In this function you will report to the Customer Focus Team Leader.

What you will do as a Product Engineer Operations?

• The introduction of improvements in existing products regarding quality and cost;
• Implement customer changes and support the implementation of activities;
• Informing and guiding the CAD engineer related to the elaboration of partial assignments;
• Technical support to provide production, testing of prototypes;
• Designing, developing design ideas, undertake studies and sketches;
• Elaboration of draft constructions in consultation with the CFT teams;
• Report core sizes, supporting tolerance studies, assess strength, drive, transmission etc. on production feasibility, materials and new applications in the extended supply chain.

Product Engineer Operations Job Requirements

What we expect from you?

• You have a relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering. 
• You've at least 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry or supply.
• You also have experience with CAD programs (CATIA V5) and construction techniques. 
• You are directed on quality and continuous improvement. 
• Experience with lean manufacturing is a plus. 
• In addition, you can handle stress and you work accurately and structured. 
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch, English and German language.
