Thanks to an excellent market position combined with a growth and investment phase, we are looking to strengthen national and international sales, for a Business Developer in the chemical industry.

You report directly to the Director of "Sales and Marketing" and are responsible for creating new opportunities, the acquisition of potential customers and the expansion of business with existing customers. With targeted marketing activities and representing the company at trade shows and exhibitions, you also open up new growth potential and new markets. You manage the existing and expanding distributor relationships both at home and abroad. You also prepare forecasts and are financially responsible for the sales and profit planning. You will accompany projects of your clients untill a successful completion, working closely with all relevant departments together in the company.

Business Developer Chemical Industry Job Requirements

• You have a university degree in a scientific field such as chemistry, biochemistry or pharmacy and can already boast success in B2B sales, marketing or business development.
• Beneficial are product and industry knowledge in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
• You are an independently operating personality who likes to work in and with multidisciplinary teams and has great pleasure in customer contact. 
• A willingness to travel is required. 
• Fluent in German and English combined with another European language is a prerequisite.
