PROJECT ENGINEER Job Description

PROJECT ENGINEER

Department: Project Management

Responsibilities:
The project engineer delivers engineering support for the successful execution of the customer projects. The main tasks of the project engineer are:

• Follow up project plan execution according to quality, planning, budget and contractually agreed customer specifications
• Document customer site conditions and applicable norms and regulations
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and
  devise contingency plans
• Perform engineering calculations and prepare technical (specification) documentation for customers
• Coordinate between engineering, purchasing and production departments and ensure efficient internal communication
• Ensure proper documentation (technical / commercial) of the customer project

PROJECT ENGINEER Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Relevant BSc or MSc degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 2-5 years relevant work experience
• Experience in the field gas turbines, rotating machinery or power generation is an advantage, but not required
• Knowledge of ERP system (e.g. SAP) is an advantage
• Good communication skills
• Fluency in English is essential
