Job description
As a Manufacturing Engineer you direct and co-ordinate the manufacturing processes in an automotive, energy, maritime or (high tech) industry environment. Your daily activities consist of, writing manufacturing work instructions from the viewpoint of the design or the manufacturer and instruct the assembly staff. You investigate production processes and production problems and solve structural problems by initiating modification proposals. And you also develop and implement approved ideas in order to adjust the manufacturing process in the direction of cheaper, better and faster.

Manufacturing Engineers Job Requirements

Experience

For this position, we are looking for candidates with the following background:

• a completed Bachelor / Master level education in the field of Mechanics, Mechatronics, Aeronautical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Automotive Engineering
• Several years of experience in a technical production environment is a plus yet starters are also welcome
• Experience in analyzing problems such as the influencing of the manufacturing design
• Knowledge and experience in technical project management
• Experience in monitoring the quality and timing regarding technical realization
• Experience in process improvement methods such as Lean / Six Sigma and Kaizen is a plus
