    Development Manager CMOS Imaging Job Description

    Teledyne DALSA Professional Imaging is part of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated and specializes in the Research & Development, Design and Manufacturing of high-performance CCD and CMOS image sensors and CMOS-based X-ray detectors. Teledyne DALSA’s image sensors and detectors are used worldwide in the most demanding medical and dental imaging, aerial photography, professional digital still cameras and machine vision applications. As a part of our growth in this high-technology market, Teledyne DALSA is recruiting for the following opening: 

    Development Manager CMOS Imaging
     
    The Development Manager will be coaching a team of imaging experts in the design, simulation and evaluation of CMOS imagers.
     
    The job requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics, with at least five years of industrial experience in several aspects of imager design and proven team / project management skills.
     
    As a technical expert, the candidate will actively participate in the design activities and thus should have a solid experience in CMOS imaging, preferably on all aspects (pixel, analog and digital circuitry; device physics, simulations, design and evaluation).  Experience in analog design is essential.
     
    The job location is at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, “the world’s smartest region 2011-2012”.

    Development Manager CMOS Imaging Job Requirements

     
    The primary responsibilities for the candidate will be:

    • Leading a team of experienced CMOS designers to deliver new CMOS imagers according to agreed specification and schedule.
    • Contributions to the architecture and specifications for the CMOS imagers that need to be developed
    • Contributions to the design of the (analog) circuits of  CMOS image sensors
    • The simulation and characterization of imagers
    • Reporting the status, progress and bottlenecks of the progress of the development activities
     
    Additionally, the candidate will:
    • Contribute to research, design and evaluation of novel CMOS imager test structures for implementation on foundry shuttle runs
    • Perform benchmark activities w.r.t. CMOS imager performance
      
    The job requires the applicant to work together with other highly trained professionals in technologically challenging, multi-disciplinary projects.
     
    As Development Manager you will work closely with other teams within R&D and Industrial Operations, e.g. Test and Application Development and Product Engineering. The candidate will report to the R&D Director, located in Eindhoven.
