Service Technician (m/f) Job Description

With around 24,000 employees, Carl Zeiss is one of the global leaders in the optical and optoelectronic industries. The Industrial Metrology business group creates high-precision measuring systems and software solutions. Here, you will work on increasing the resilience, safety and energy efficiency of micro- and macro-components, e.g. the large parts of ship engines or wind turbines.
To strengthen the Service Team in Germany, we are seeking as soon as possible a Home-based Service Technician (m/f) in Germany.

Your job:

• Independently execute initial set up, services, repair and movement of coordinate measuring machines (CMMs)
• Conduct accuracy acceptance tests
• Set up and dismount CMMs for trade shows and other events
• Perform upgrades and retrofits

Service Technician (m/f) Job Requirements

Our requirements:

• Training as a technician in electrical engineering/electronics, mechatronics or precision engineering
• Good PC skills (MS-Office)
• Willingness for national and international travel
• English skills, written and spoken
• Flexibility in working hours
• Strong team player, ability to work under pressure and analytical problem solving skills
