Sr Proposal Specialist Job Description
Our client is a leading global technology, software and consulting business that creates and applies advanced technologies to enable the safe and efficient operation of industrial and commercial operations such as oil refineries, fossil fuel and nuclear power plants, petrochemical works and other manufacturing sites.
For her office in Belgium, we are looking for a Sr Proposal Specialist
Work Scope:
You are responsible for:
- Prepare cost effective proposals and consistently strive to improve the efficiency and accuracy of proposal generation in instrumentation and control
- Generate quality and timely proposal / sales materials for customers:
- Review and interpret technical specifications and customers' requirements
- Prepare scope of work
- Prepare system sizing based on the solution provided by Technical consultants
- Manage and request for resale items to Supply chain and liaise with Supply Chain for accurate and timely quotations
- Coordinate activities with Contracts Manager to ensure a full Risk Review analysis Prepare internal approval form for each proposal and get it validated and then route for approval
- Organize, lead and coordinate with other proposal team members
- Render support to Sales, provide follow-up on commercial and technical clarifications
- Undertake dept projects for continuous improvement in work productivity & efficiency
- Reports to the Proposal manager

Sr Proposal Specialist Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Control & Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering
- 2-5 years of related working experience in industrial process controls/safety, SCADA, or PLC systems
- Good knowledge in process automation and effective user of MS Office, Project Scheduler
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Dutch skills
