Software Engineer
We require a Software Engineer with a background in software development for the Teledyne DALSA Professional Imaging R&D department, located in Eindhoven, The Netherlands to join a team of hardware and software development engineers in the Test and Application Development Group.
The principal task for the candidate will be software development and validation of sensor- and detector production testers. One of the first tasks will be the validation of one of the production testers for sensors used in medical X-ray imaging applications. Knowledge of C++ (MS visual studio), C# and configuration management is required. Teamwork is essential, as the successful candidate will be required to work with the sensor development project teams in Eindhoven, the application teams in Eindhoven and Tokyo, the manufacturing teams in Eindhoven and Waterloo (Canada), with key customers and within a team of 5 other software engineers.
The candidate will report to the Manager of the Test & Application group.
The Test and Application group is part of the R&D department and is responsible for the development of electronics, firmware and software for camera’s and testers.
Strong interest in electronics, image processing and statistics is a definite advantage. The position is open for candidates with at least 3-5 years previous work with a bachelor degree in Software Engineering/Technical Computer Science or similar.
