Technical Service Manager Decorative & Industrial – EMEA
In order to support the Flooring & Construction business acquired via the purchase of Viverso beginning of 2012, there is an opening for a Technical Service Manager based in Bergen op Zoom. The candidate should be willing to spend about 40 – 50 % of his/her time travelling in the EMEA region, in particularly in the Benelux, Germany and Central and Eastern Europe. The Technical Service Manager will report to the R&D manager Decorative & Industrial.
Responsibilities:
• To provide technical support to our customers through direct and indirect advice on the product range of Nuplex Resins for the Flooring & Construction markets.
• To translate technical problems or desires from our customers into business opportunities (initiate customer support projects, sales development projects, product improvement proposals, etc.).
• To advise the area manager(s) on technical issues.
Co-responsibilities:
• To maintain, and where possible to increase, the sales of Nuplex resins to our customers (together with the area manager).
• To introduce new products into the market (together with the product development managers).
• To contribute to the business process in the business team.
Competencies:
• A degree in chemistry or chemical technology.
• At least 5 years of experience in the resin flooring business, preferably in formulation both solvent-free or waterborne polyurethane flooring systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English language skills. Preferable also knowledge of the German language.
• Take initiative, entrepreneurial attitude.
• Commercial affinity.
Salary
The salary group will be 10 (€ 48.122 – € 69.426), depending on knowledge and experience.
