Senior Manufacturing Analyst
 
The Senior Manufacturing Analyst is part of the Manufacturing Analytics team (5 in total) which is a sub department of the Venlo Engineering & IT department. He/she will provide analytical management support on all manufacturing related aspects, such as production, logistics & supply chain topics. The main internal customers of the Senior Manufacturing Analyst and the Manufacturing Analytics team will be the Venlo Management team and middle management.
 
The Senior Manufacturing Analyst will report to the Manager Manufacturing Analytics.
 
Your role will involve: 
Manufacturing system analytics & design support
• Delivery system measurement, analytics, design support for Production, logistics, supply chain
• Identify improvement potential based on thorough analysis of process data.
• KPI design from shopfloor to senior management level, introduction and implementation, maintenance & continuous improvement (including dashboards and team boards)
• Capacity planning, utilization tracking, bottleneck identification & removal, holiday peak (seasonality) management
• Plant simulation
 
General operational management support
• Manufacturing issue and data analysis, interpretation and support solution development
• Assist the Venlo management team in management reporting, business & process controlling
• Analytical support on ad hoc basis and structural management support in close cooperation with the Venlo management team
 
Consultancy
• Act as an “internal consultant” for the Venlo organization in general and the Venlo Management Team in particular
• Provide analytical support to 
• Lead improvement projects for the Venlo site

Senior Manufacturing Analyst Job Requirements

In return, you will bring:
• BA/MA degree in Engineering or Science
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role (manufacturing analytics, industrial engineering, operational consulting, etc.) within a WCM/LEAN environment
• Good business sense
• Proficiency in SQL, handling Big Data
• Experience with SSRS, Tableau and/or Qlickview is a plus
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, the ability to independently develop tools and communications in these applications
• Project management experience combined with consultancy skills
• Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
• High level of organizational sensitivity, excellent communication skills on every level
• A high degree of flexibility
• Quick learner
