Mechanical Designers Job Description

• After thorough internal training as Mechanical Designer you will become responsible for the 3D technical design of modules for our harvesters.  Expect technically challenging projects involving various factors such as form and position tolerance, assembly ability, hardening processes, etc.
• As Mechanical Designer you generate useful information for Case New Holland’s production department, such as technical drawings, filing sheets and work instructions.
• You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of experts that makes all the technical preparations for a well performing and cost efficient production process.

Mechanical Designers Job Requirements

Your profile: 

• As Mechanical Designer with Case New Holland you have a bachelor or master’s degree electro-mechatronics or extensive experience in a similar position.
• You take a keen interest in the construction of machinery. An interest in agriculture is an asset, but not a must.
• You have a creative and innovative mind, a dynamic, independent and accurate way of working, and a highly developed sense of commitment.
• You have experience designing with 3D drawing systems.  Knowledge of Pro-Engineer is an advantage.
• Your work as a Mechanical Designer is highly analytical and focuses on dependability, cost awareness and standardisation.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English and have a basic knowledge of German and French.
