(Senior) Design Engineer Job Description

Wärtsilä R&D - Environmental Products and Technologies - Engineering and Project Management is looking for a (Senior) Design Engineer to design, develop and maintain R&D Environmental products (system level and detail level). Position is located in Vaasa or Turku.

• Mechanical Engineering for development and sales projects 
• Create, check and maintain product documentation within the area of responsibility 
• Ensure that produced designs and solutions are complied with the industry standards 
• Provide engineering support to product group 
• Participate in engineering process development

(Senior) Design Engineer Job Requirements

• BSc or MSc in mechanical engineering 
• Few years experience is an asset, preferably in mechanical engineering, newly graduated are also taken into account 
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering, manufacturing technologies 
• Familiar with 3D Cad, preferably I-Deas and NX 
• Good co-operation and teamwork skills 
• Good command of oral and written English
