Job description 
As (Embedded) Software Engineer at Irmato you will be part of a team of Engineers active in the field of Electronics and Software Engineering for machines and equipment. You will be responsible for the entire process regarding technical (Embedded) software.

As (Embedded) Software engineer you will focus on:

• Identifying software requirements from the existing product requirements in close cooperation with Electronic Hardware developers, Mechanical Engineers and other Software engineers.
• Design, test and implement software applications in embedded environments or machine control environment

(Embedded) Software Engineer Job Requirements

Educationlevel

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Electronics or an equivalent

• At least 3 years experience in a similar role;
• Knowledge and experience with the design, simulation, realization and debugging of structured (embedded) software;
• Experience with decomposition and design of block diagrams;
• Experience in designing a test plan (DFx);
• Experience in writing a TPD and required Design Documentation (EPS, EDS, TPS/TAR);
• Knowledge and experience with programming in one of the following languages: C, C++, C#, JAVA or .NET;
• Experience with hardware such as ARM, Coldfire, Xscale and RISC;
• Experience with communication interfaces such as UART, I2C, CAN, RS-485, RS-232;
• Up-to-date knowledge on the current standards regarding components such as CPLD, FPGA, ADC,  Memory IC’s (SRAM, DRAM, DDR, SDR), Embedded processors and microcontrollers;
• Knowledge on (embedded) operating systems such as Windows or Linux.
