Senior Process Engineer

Location: Birchwood
Up to £42,500 per annum + fantastic benefits

The Company
My Client is a leading supplier of high-value consulting, engineering, EPC / EPCM, (engineering, procurement and construction management) and project management services to the power industry working on both new assets and retro-fitting existing power facilities. They have built a reputation for providing innovative, value added solutions for major energy providers, governments, developers and independent power producers.

The Role
As the demand for my Client’s expertise continues to grow, a requirement has arisen for a Senior Process Engineer to support their Nuclear Services Business Unit, based from their office in Birchwood.

Responsibilities will include:

• Front End Engineering Design work for various nuclear waste retrieval and treatment and decommissioning projects
• Design justification or assessment of new and existing process plants as part of safety reports
• Feasibility and Optioneering Studies
• Hazard Identification Studies
• Process Design Development
• Production of process flow sheets, process flow diagrams and P&IDs with all underpinning calculations
• Equipment data sheets
• Production of all process engineering documents (basis of design, process description, various strategy documents

Senior Process Engineer Job Requirements

You:
Ideally you will have experience in the Nuclear industry and have a strong background in process engineering. Experience of working on Sellafield or Capenhurst projects would be ideal.
