COMMISSIONING ENGINEER (M/F)
FOR RWE INNOGY GMBH, LOCATION HAMBURG

Your tasks:

• developing and implementing a comprehensive commissioning programme for the commissioning of the entire wind farm in accordance with the requirements of the acquiring business management

• planning acceptance and commissioning and coordinating commissioning of offshore wind farms as well as associated infrastructure and electrical systems on land and at sea

• technically coordinating acceptance and commissioning with suppliers and within the project team during the planning phase

• developing project-specific commissioning strategies, taking into account technical requirements and contractual arrangements

• independently supporting the wind farm during the connecting process and the initial feeding of the test operation; monitoring and optimising plant operations in the start-up phase, as well as documenting the commissioning results

• coordinating the staff involved and the work required during commissioning, including technical leadership of the people involved

• acting as the point of contact for commissioning issues relevant to the project team, suppliers and other contractors on site

• ensuring the flow of information regarding the commissioning activities between the various trades and the Marine Coordination Centre’s construction management

• ensuring safe commissioning, adhering to relevant technical and occupational health and safety regulations

• acting as initiator in terms of innovations and improvements in commissioning processes

• handling technical handover of the wind farm or components to the operation management, including associated documentation

COMMISSIONING ENGINEER (M/F) Job Requirements

Your profile: 

• degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent qualifications

• sound professional experience in the operation of complex electrical systems

• technical training and experience in an international environment advantageous

• very good English language skills

• independent approach to work, poise and intercultural skills

• team working skills

• open mindedness

• international mobility

• offshore capability
