Mechanical System Integration Engineer Job Description

Within the System Integration & Installation department of the Aircraft Business Unit of Safran Engineering Services, you will act as a Mechanical System Integration Engineer for the Airbus A350 program.

Member of one of our project team, you will take charge of the main following activities:

1. Project leader for various mechanical system integration and qualification topics related to the aircraft system architecture and weight optimization, you will lead the corresponding Change Note (CN) / Change Request (CR) processes in behalf of the A350 program team :

• Definition of pre/post modifications (Mods) with the support of experts, planning set-up and follow-up
• Workshop management: analysis of blocking points, clash/clearance analysis with the Digital Mock-Up (DMU)
• Analysis of feedbacks, follow-up of tests
• Business cases writing and consequently presentation to the Head Of A350 engineering

• Screening of CNs/CRs, analysis of proposed modifications
• Implementation follow-up

Mechanical System Integration Engineer Job Requirements

Graduated from an Engineering School or from university ideally Aeronautics oriented, you benefit from whole or part of the following characteristics:

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a mechanical system engineer
• Good knowledge of system installation (Cockpit furnishing (ATA25) / Primary insulation (ATA21-69) / Air conditioning ATA21 / Commercial system (ATA38 ; 21-59 ; 26) / Hydraulic ATA29….)
• Real relationship / communication skills
• Real capacity of adaptation and autonomy
• English at negotiation level
• Experience in Catia V5 software (at DMU level)
