The Position
- Participate in a variety of global/regional projects with cross-functional project teams
- Manage and oversee engineering design and implementation of chemical/biotechnological production plants
- Ensure state of art practices of scale-up and engineering, project management know-how and safety standards are applied and shared within the organization
- Support project teams towards a risk-based approach when implementing new or advanced process technology
- Coordinate several ongoing projects with the corresponding support
Process and Project Engineer (F/M) Job Requirements
The Ideal
- Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering
- At least 5 years in engineering design and in execution of large capital projects, preferably as project manager or lead project engineer
- Experience of working with people of different cultural backgrounds
- General knowledge of current regulations (e.g. ATEX, pressure equipment directive, GMP)
- Understanding of financials and accounting requirements in projects
- Fluent in English, preferably also in German
