For a top management consultancy company, we are continuously looking for:

In the pre-selection phase the hiring company prefers to stay anonymous.
The candidate will receive more detailed information on the hiring company and the function after a successful pre-selection.
Then the candidate will enter an extensive selection process.
 
Function details:
New consultants immediately join client case teams and become intimately involved in the formulation and implementation of strategic recommendations to improve the client’s economic performance. Over time, consultants may work with two clients simultaneously. This approach gives consultants exposure to the broadest cross-section of issues and industries, providing the opportunity for rapid growth.

Typical assignments include data gathering (through primary and secondary research), performing (financial) analysis, preparing client presentations and working with clients to develop and implement recommendations.
Consultants work across a variety of study types (e.g. strategy, performance improvement, due diligence), across a variety of industries (e.g. financial services, telecommunications and technology, retail, industrial goods and services, consumer products).
 
Expectations for this role include:
•         Participate in all aspects of the end-to-end process.
•         Develop a plan to solve the client’s problems.
•         Execute the analysis.
•         Translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
•         Move the client to action.
•         Achieve bottom-line results for the client.

Management Consultants (PhD level) (M/F) Job Requirements

Education and qualifications:

• PhD in engineering, applied physics, applied mathematics, (applied) economics.
• Outstanding Bachelor and Master study results: minimum great distinction (magna cum laude) in (nearly) every year; results to be mentioned per year in the CV.
• Excellent analytic, synthetic and problem solving skills.
• Results-oriented track record: to be mentioned/quantified in the CV.
• Demonstrable history of leadership and teaming up: to be mentioned/quantified in the CV.
• Experience level: being in the last phase of the PhD study or recently having obtained the PhD degree.
• At least 1 extra-curricular (sports, arts, …) distinction.
