For our operating company Marel Meat Processing in Oss we are looking for a: Lead Mechanical Design engineer

The job:
You are the driving senior designer in a revolutionary development for the core market of Marel Meat Processing Oss. In this job you design, develop and test equipment for the food processing industry together with a team of skilled technologists and development mechanics. Your playfield is wide, you work close with your colleagues in R & D but also with people in the production, assembly and service department as well as customers. Advanced and new materials and standards are part of the constrains.

Lead Mechanical Design Engineer Job Requirements

Your profile:

• You have a bachelor degree (HTS ) or master degree (TU) in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
• You have at least a 5 years' track record on designing equipment for the food industry  (hygiene, safety, materials);
• You have mastered common software (e.g. MS Office)  and 3D CAD (preferably Inventor)including Simulation and FEM;
• You are trained in methodical design and can communicate this to your stakeholders;
• Conceptual design and  adequate constructions are your second nature. You are particular strong in practical and creative solutions. In other words, thinking out of the box is a challenge for you;
• Of course you are a team player; energetic, passionate, communicative, proactive, enterprising and independent;
• Good knowledge of the English language, in both oral and written form. German would be highly appreciated, however not mandatory.
