Business Development Manager - Rogers Job Description

Rogers Power Distribution Systems division has been providing innovative busbar solutions and collaborative engineering services since 1969. Laminated busbars are three dimensional constructions enabling electrical distribution of current in power electronic modules. They are utilized in traction propulsion systems for rail applications, wind and solar inverters, industrial frequency inverters, large UPS systems or power supplies and other applications requiring the distribution of electrical power. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager.

• As a Business Development Manager your main responsibility is to lead both the marketing and pipeline filling activities of the xEV Automotive Power Distributions Solutions.
• You manage project plans for the Power Distributions Systems Division in the assigned territory (Europe + USA) from project acquisition and bid until design win.
• Set a penetration and pipeline filling strategy to achieve the targets and follow the set strategy punctually.
• The Business Development Manager is the driving force and leads by example to develop and win new projects, developing the right penetration strategy to replicate success through the global sales force.
• Manage the solution development process and keep deadlines in strong collaboration with the Design Engineering Manager/Program Manager.
• You develop long term relationships with our customers by working closely with divisional marketing, technical service engineering, customer service and R&D.
• Maintain the Business Development databases and support marketing activities, including trade shows or customer intimacy visits. You provide feedback to management on key success factors, sales inhibitors and strategies to overcome obstacles to land the projects.

• Master degree
• Proven success in driving cross functional teams, project management experience.
• Self-Motivated, entrepreneurial self-starter.
• Knowledge of corporate decision making processes, organization agility. Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive business issues.
• Presentation skills in a solution oriented environment.
• As Business Development Manager you will travel to make business trips (about 30% in Europe and the US). For Asia, you collaborate closely with a local Marketing Development Manager.
• Job based in Ghent. You are willing to move to Belgium.
