Blue Yonder is the leading, award-winning provider of predictive analytics software in Europe. Among other honors, Blue Yonder received the FOCUS Digital Star Innovations award 2013 and the CyberOne award 2012. We identify patterns and relationships in Big Data that have previously gone unrecognized. Our services are provided to our international customers primarily via cloud technology and as Software as a Service from our high security data center. As an interest held by a strategic investor, we combine the security of a large enterprise and the flexibility and speed of a young and international expanding organization.   Now, in order to support the rapid growth of our business, we are seeking to expand our product management team. Our competitors are in Silicon Valley – but thanks to German engineering, we can take them on.  

Therefore, for our location in Karlsruhe, we are seeking a well-qualified colleague for the following position:  

Product Manager (m/f)  Software

• Leading Predictive Analytics and data science software expertise to stay ahead of the rest of the industry
• A healthy and inspiring mix of experienced start-up entrepreneurs and highly-specialized data scientists, software developers, sales and marketing colleagues, as well as a Design Thinking Team, which applies state-of-the-art methods to develop our next-generation software
• US competition and competition with established enterprise software companies

• Additional tuning-up of the product portfolio as a software company
• Takeover of product road map responsibility and business case calculations in cooperation with the CEO, CTO, Sales, and Marketing
• Goal-oriented preparation of the market entry for new vertical and international markets
• Design of collaterals
• Ideally, the definition of product management as American Silicon Valley companies see it
• You will represent the company when interacting with analysts, tech journalists, and other interested parties
• Customer first: you constantly analyze market requirements and use these to design new generations of our software environment. Here you think from the customer's point of view and incorporate his requirements into the products.

Product Manager (m/f) Software Job Requirements

The qualities you should possess: 

• Desire to work for a new and innovative high-tech start-up
• You are a service-oriented person who thinks like an entrepreneur with a technical or business degree who has several years of professional and management experience in the product management sector.
• Your experience and expertise in product management relate primarily to enterprise software and were acquired in a start-up environment
• Ideally you have cloud, SaaS, and/or BI expertise
• You have learned in small- and medium-sized, perhaps also in large software companies, how to cultivate a new market in structured fashion and put the right product messages on the market
• Milestone planning and fulfillment under competitive conditions are second-nature for you
• Outstanding English skills
• A calm but determined approach to achieving goals
• Outstanding communication abilities
