Corrosion Engineer – Saudi Arabia (East) – Hydrocarbon and Petrochemical Producer
 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
- Perform all Corrosion Control Program related activities.
 
- Perform root cause failure analysis, remaining life, fitness for service analysis.
 
- Review corrosion data (OSI), analyses results and evaluate the effectiveness of corrosion control programs.
 
- Review Cathodic Protection survey.
 
- Provide support to area inspector in implementing inspection plan and perform further tests/inspection.
 
- Participate in the RBI team and provide corrosion data (trending, rates, etc.), damage mechanisms and corrosion loops.

Corrosion Engineer – Hydrocarbon and Petrochemical Producer Job Requirements

PROFILE REQUIRED
 
- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
 
- +/- 10 years of experience in the oil or similar process industry (inspection and corrosion field)
 
- Detailed knowledge about damage mechanisms, affected materials, corrosion mitigation methods, corrosion monitoring methods, inspection methods
 
- API 580 & 570 certified
 
- Certified Corrosion Specialist (NACE)
 
- Knowledge of the API RBI software
