Role Summary/Purpose:

The successful individual will work as a team member within a multi skilled engineering function to deliver a pre-defined project on time, on budget and within expectations. Internships can be for 6 or 12 months starting in June/July

Essential Responsibilities:

Mechanical Engineering Intern

• Create detailed drawings, concept designs and design calculations
• Specify and execute tests and test plans an contribute to FMEA’s
• Become familiar and GE PII design practices including the use of Pro-Engineer 3D solid Modeler and Oracle system for drawing management

• 2D and 3D CAD part and assembly design
• Design, testing and documentation of small electro / mechanical projects
• Environmental testing of systems electronics and engineering evaluation of pigs in pipelines.
