The business unit Services offers ship owners an optimal service by also carrying out other maintenance and repair work aboard. Furthermore, we also offer a variety of electro technical services, and we are active in the fields of inspection and automation. For the field service department at location Schiedam, The Netherlands we are looking for a:

Position description

As Service Coordinator you deal with the commercial, financial and technical supervision of repair and maintenance projects on marine and land installations. You maintain contacts with internal and external customers relating to the progress of the work. You coordinate the Field Service employees who perform the job on location. 

Also you care for a check of the service order and you ensure a proper and early report and the supply of data for invoicing. 

Responsibilities

• Managing the Field Services personnel when they are assigned on a Services work order (acting as superior when field personnel is assigned to a job). Up to 20 pers. 
• Customer Satisfaction 
• On time and within budget execution of field jobs 
• Project planning and preparation 
• Act as contact person for customer during the work order. Interface with the customer during the work up to the invoice 
• Manage and coordinate all standard Field Service activities in a cost efficient way 
• Monitor Field Service KPI’s (UR and IUR) WIP and TTI. 
• Comply with Safety and ISO processes for all personnel, tools and machines to insure safety, accuracy and Quality of all services. 
• Cooperate with other FS Managers, FS coordinators and General Manager in order to ensure the right resource for every job.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or equivalent professional background. Preferably maritime engineering. 
• 5-10 years of experience within an mechanical/industrial Field Service organization. 
• Several years of practical experience in the engine room is preferred. 
• Experience in managing service teams. 
• Strong Project Management skills 
• Fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English. 
• Strong communication skills 
• Good knowledge of MS Power Point, Excel, Word and SAP. 
• Customer oriented and assertive.
