Position description
For our Product Development & Engineering / Automation Team we are looking for a Team Leader Electronic Design located in Winterthur/Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for automation system layout and integration of the automation products on 2-stroke engines
- Responsible for the timely delivery and quality of necessary drawings and documentation (wiring diagrams, system overviews, bill-of-materials, interface lists, communication adress lists, initial configuration data etc.)
- Where applicable, co-ordinate activities with the AC4 System Design team in A&C WFI for optimised standardisation and platform support
- Serving our customers: R&D experts and designers, Technical Service, PowerTech, Testing & Performance, Sourcing
- Responsible for coordination with remote control system and alarm system suppliers regarding technical and conceptual items
- Line manager of a team of 5 experts

Requirements
- MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering with strong focus on Engine Control
- Expert in development of hardware, sensors and mechatronics for engine automation installation
- Understanding of marine engines and relevant control system
- At least three years of experience in a research & development environment
- Very good problem solving skills
- Very good analytical skills
- Conflict solving / avoiding
- broad knowledge of engine and engine automation
- Very good command of English
- Strong skills in communication and teamwork
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment
