Junior Engineer Job Description

Introduction:
The company is one of the world’s leading marine construction companies for the oil and gas industry and specializes in the design, transportation, installation and removal of all types of fixed and floating offshore structures in shallow and deep water.

The Technology Department within the company performs the complete preparation and engineering for installation and removal projects, give engineering support to projects that will be prepared in one of our other offices all over the world and give engineering support to equipment new-build / modification scopes including our vessels. Together with colleagues, subcontractors and clients, our engineers work in dedicated multi discipline project teams in order to provide constructive and workable solutions for these technically challenging projects.

In order to support the often Technically challenging projects we are looking for starting engineers with affiliation for marine, mechanical and structural engineering. 
Your daily activities:
Performing design / analyses according to correct methods, procedures and standards
Concept and/or Functional Design of mechanical equipment for our (future) business
Provide engineering support required for the preparation of offshore installation and removal projects, i.e. structural, marine or mechanical engineering
Improve the level of knowledge in your competence / specialty
Offshore / onshore attendance

Junior Engineer Job Requirements

BSc or MSc Degree in Mechanical / Maritime Engineering / Aeronautical or equivalent
Maximum 3 years relevant experience
Basic Mechanical and Structural knowledge
Good command of the English and Dutch languages, both spoken and written
Well-developed communication skills
The ambition to work (temporarily) offshore on our vessels, overseas or in our other offices
