(Senior) Scientist BioAnalysis - Immunogenicity Job Description
Responsibilities
- Immunogenicity assessment of Nanobodies in preclinical and clinical setting – potentially supplemented with pharmacokinetic analysis of Nanobodies
o Development, optimization and validation of immunogenicity assays (Ligand Binding Assays, functional cellular assays such as neutralizing antibody assays)
o Pharmacokinetic and immunogenicity analysis to support (pre)clinical studies in various species
o Possibly: outsourcing of the assays to CRO (transfer and follow up)
- Designing Immunogenicity Risk Assessment
- Reporting to the pharmacology and to the multidisciplinary project team
- Qualification and implementation of new methods and equipment
- Writing and reviewing of development reports, validation plans/reports and procedures
- Possibly Team leader: management and technical guidance of a team of 1-4 (senior) research associates

Profile
- PhD in (bio)chemistry/bio-engineering/pharmaceutical sciences… preferably with 3-5 y of industry experience, preferably in biotherapeutic setting.
- Strong background in immunology is a must
- Technical expertise in cellular assays, Ligand binding assay techniques (e.g. ELISA) and in assay development, optimization and assay validation is recommended
- Experience with biotherapeutic immunogenicity assessment is recommended (experience with FDA, EMA, regulatory submissions)
- Full time position

- Knowledge English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus
