Role Summary/Purpose

Engineering Graduate holding a degree class 2:1 or above, with first class communication and interpersonal skills, with an excellent academic record and some practical experience working within Engineering or Technology departments. The training program will consist of working in various business areas, with a primary focus on Engineering.

Essential Responsibilities

• Working within different Engineering & Technology Departments. 
• Problem solving and development of various activities 
• Read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. 
• Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. 
• Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. 
• Attend training solutions as outlined within Graduate Training Programme 
• Employ basic scientific/engineering principles, produce test designs, test of materials, preparation of specifications, report preparation, basic research investigations. 
• Take personal responsibility for issues, decisions, outcomes and delivering results 
• Work actively with other team members to achieve targets or team objectives 
• Participate in design, development and research activities for engineering, science and technology applications 
• Maintain and extend a sound theoretical and practical knowledge 
• Apply commercial parameters to technical/engineering activities 
• Work interactively with relevant departments/functions 
• Support and work to required department and industry quality standards 
• Use appropriate technical/engineering information and knowledge to achieve objectives 
• Any other duties as directed by the Manager(s) of Engineering and Technology.
