Job Summery
We are looking for a driven candidate who is (or aspires to develop into) a specialist in the area of chromatography and / or membrane technology on the interface of product and process. As an expert you will be the first line troubleshooter within your specialty. There are approximately 75 people working in the Plant. You are part of professional team which contains 15 co-workers. Your direct colleagues is a group of 5 Process Technologists. As a Process Technologist your duties and responsibilities amongst others will be:
- Analyzing process data in order to control and improve manufacturing processes which contribute to quality, yield and/or sustainability improvement or cost decrease;
- Proposing modifications and projects for process improvement;
- Participating and leading multifunctional project teams;
- Elaborating investment requests and list up requirements for new installations;
- Actively carrying out and participating in the TPM (Continuous Improvement) program;
- Ensuring production progress by process control;
- Ensuring the registration and update of technological knowledge by work instructions, process descriptions and project reports;
- Process modifications: analyze the impact on the complete production chain and quality of the end product;
- Providing expertise in investment projects and coordinate the implementation in production;
- Supporting new product clearances by testing and validation;
- Supporting root cause analysis in case of complaints and quality deviations.
Process Technologist Milk Protein Plant Job Requirements
Job Requirments
- Relevant Master Degree preferably in Process Technology or Process Engineering;
- +2 years’ experience in similar position;
- Knowledge in milk or whey processing and knowledge of chromatography/ultrafiltration/reversed osmosis is a plus;
- Solid Communication skills in both Dutch and English;
- Well-developed Planning and Organization skills;
- Driven to take proactive ownership by analyzing and offering solutions.
