Industrialisation Engineer Job Description

The mission is to design, implement and execute all necessary actions for the industrialisation of new products and manufacturing processes, working closely with Project Managers in order to ensure good project development from quotation phase to serial production.

The position is based in Santa Perpetua de la Mogoda (Barcelona) and will report to the Process and Industrialisation manager.

The key accountabilities are:

• Close collaboration with the Project Managers for analysis of customer requirements (dimensional, functional, quality, etc) in order to guarantee that products and processes will reach good industrial performances.
• Manage and coordinate industrialisation activities of new products/processes, participating in the selection of machinery, components and suppliers.
• Pilot and follow-up the development process (according to automotive industry norms) and promote within the Plant the activities that guarantee product/process reliability (validation plans, tests, FMEA, Poka-yoke, SPC, etc).
• Management of the assigned resources (development budgets, planings, etc).
• Coordinate samples fabrication, tests, documentation and all other activities to guarantee a successful SOP.

Industrialisation Engineer Job Requirements

• University Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in the Automotive Industry (@OEM or Tier1 level)
• Experience on plastic injection processes and/or assembly lines.
• Good interpersonal skills to deal with different teams within the AGC Group.
• Capacity to coordinate diverse activities at the same time.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Available for travelling.
