Duties & Responsibilities

Working in our Test Engineering team in Kirchheim/Teck, you will: 

• Design of complex multilayer PCB test hardware based on schematic provided by test engineering
• Consider electrical and mechanical design requirements of test & design engineering and provide suitable solutions in accordance with the PCB manufacturing houses 
• Develop and maintain schematic symbol and component footprint libraries 
• Ensure that PCB design is in accordance with the capabilities of manufacturing process 
• Perform PCB design review together with Applications, Design and Test Engineering 
• Verify layout by DRC and simulation for critical signals 
• Generate production design data and check manufacturability with QA of supplier 
• Generate and maintain PCB design documentation

Senior PCB Designer (m/f) Job Requirements

The Individual

You could be perfect for this particular role if you have: 

• At least 5 years of experience in design of complex multi-layer PCB´s including signal integrity check and board simulation. 
• Good experience in Schematic entry, PCB Layout and Component Library tools. 
• Extensive knowledge about state-of-the-art PCB manufacturing process and assembly technology 
• Experience in working with international and cross-functional teams 
• Motivation and passion to be a part of a very efficient team 
• Great communication skills in both written & verbal English
