Maintenance Engineer Job Description

 
MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

The Maintenance Engineer has an advising, estimating, planning and supporting role in the technical maintenance of equipment and machinery.

• Contribute to lead-time reductions by improving production processes
• Identify the feasibility of solutions together with the involved risks and the  associated impact
• Analyze and incorporate proposed amendments
• Taking the lead in running development programs for optimizing performance to
• ensure availability, reliability and costs
• Performing safety analysis, in particular failure mode and effect analysis
• Drawing up detailed work package descriptions
• Analyzing the performance of the machines and  making recommendations for improvements
• Setting up maintenance programs and see them thru
• Work closely together with operators, mechanics, planners and engineers

Maintenance Engineer Job Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 2 to 5 years experience in working in an industrial environment or similar.
• Knowledge of Maintenance processes
• Knowledge of Maintenance Management Systems  
• Knowledge and experience in making structural improvements
• Affinity to work in an technical and production environment
• Knowledge of safety and environment regulations
• Speaks Dutch or willing to learn
• Fluent in English
