Design Draftsperson male / female Job Description

The Draftsperson supports others in the department in the development of technical drawings. The Draftsperson is responsible for all aspects of the design process, by transforming the initial conceptual design using CAD into working submittal documents, and to produce fabrication documents from these submittal documents. Responsibilities: Utilize information received from Team Leaders to help create submittal documents, shop and fabrication drawings.
Support the Design Draftsperson in the development of shop drawings, fabrication drawings using AutoCAD.
Use design practice to standardize and improve drawing presentation.
Other duties as needed by specific business unit/department.  

Design Draftsperson male / female Job Requirements

Requirements: Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associate’s degree with relevant experience in Architectural or Mechanical engineering.
This is an entry level position: 0-3 years related experience. Experience in construction industry plus.

Knowledge & Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office. AUTOCAD, Inventor.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication skills.
