Project Manager Offshore Job Description

For an international engineering organization in the Netherlands, specialized in the engineering for offshore constructions and energy farms we’re looking for an all-round versatile project manager. The company focuses on concept design and multidisciplinary projects for many well-known international clients. Their order portfolio is packed and they grow very fast, that’s why we’re looking to strengthen the project management department with an experienced person who is capable of leading projects in the area of financial, administrative, technical, quality and planning. 

You will become the liaison officer between the engineers and the client and therefore you will be operating from the HQ and must be willing to travel to international clients.

Project Manager Offshore Job Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering or similar;
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the area of offshore, oil &gas or similar, with a strong focus on in depth engineering;
• Excellent command of English, both verbally as in writing;
• Team player; good communication skills;
• Team leader, articulate, capable of motivating others;
• Multidisciplinary interest;
• Driven to continuously learn and develop;
• Willingness to work internationally;
• Experience in a multidiscipline company will be a plus.
