Research Engineer Offshore Job Description

For one of our clients we are looking for an engineer who is willing to specialize on the research and development. Our client is an international marine company which is a specialist in offshore constructions and pipelines. Due to the fast growing market they are continuous looking for new ways to improve their process, techniques, vessels and machines.   Your responsibilities consist of the development of new innovations on mechanical, hydrodynamical and marine systems. You will develop new parts, methods, models and thinks of better ways to use or implement the current technics. The research will be done in a laboratory or behind a desk where you will be analyzing the results or making simulations.

Research Engineer Offshore Job Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

• BSc or MSc in Offshore Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar;
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in offshore projects;
• Experience with research, design and engineering in the offshore;
• Thorough knowledge of hydrodynamics and offshore constructions;
• Fluent in English (both oral and writing);
• Willing to travel internationally.
