Internship Sustainability and Energy Job Description

The challenge

DSM has set a goal to reduce its carbon footprint by 20% by 2020.  In this context DSM  is studying the use of renewable energy to contribute to this ambition. The challenge is to map the best opportunities available for DSM.
 

Goals of the Project
 

• Develop understanding of the European utilities market (Electricity and Gas)
• Benchmark against peers in terms of renewable energy use, targets, roadmaps and best practices (including interviews with few selected companies)
• Interview internal stake holders in order to formulate realistic recommendations regarding the use of renewable energy
• Work out case studies to show the potential to DSM

Qualifications

Have you got a relevant education or background in the chemical industry?
Do you stretch to the max in getting results and going for a happy customer? Have you got a track record in working in teams and do you like to travel frequently? Can you plan ahead and do you have very strong communication skills?  Then you are the person we are looking for!


The Reward

We offer you a competitive package including an internship allowance, compensation for accommodation and travel reimbursement.  The duration of the internships is variable but preferably last for at least 3 months and can also be combined with a Bachelor or Master thesis.
