SAP Functional Consultant PP/MM Job Description

Belden is looking for a Sap Functional Consultant for a global manufacturer of high-tech components in Neckertenzlingenin who can bridge the gap between IT and business in a growing technical production enterprise.

You are able to analyze business processes and know how to turn them into system solutions. The IT department consists of 110 colleagues worldwide, 10 of whom are part of the Center of Excellence’s “SAP Application Managed Services” Team. As a member of this team you will take on a key international position with a broad scope within the various modules of SAP (versions 4.6 and 6.0) PP/MM and to a lesser extent SD and PI.

The development and growth of our employees is paramount within the organization. There are various training opportunities which include the possibility of obtaining certificates. The ideal candidate is flexible and has the drive to act as a sparring partner.

A global standardization program is currently running which regularly results in subprojects. Using your expertise, you will contribute to the project. This will require you to travel intercontinentally from time to time. You will also travel frequently within Europe. In addition to working on the project, you will also be responsible for the operation of the existing systems.

SAP Functional Consultant PP/MM Job Requirements

A senior SAP Functional Consultant who is looking to further his/her responsibilities and skills with:

 

• 5 to 10 years of experience in developing and implementing SAP PP/MM;
• experience with SD and PI (optional);
• a minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting Manufacturing & Sales and Distribution business processes;
• experience in project management and project-focused work in an application management environment and SAP PI;
• familiarity with the standards in the field of application maintenance (ASL, BISL, ITIL);
• proficiency in both English and German.
