Mechanical Engineer Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Making (fine-) mechanical designs, sketches and providing details regarding specific requests.
• Validating the concept designs using calculations.
• Designing and drawing in 3D- drawing programs.
• Making construction drawings in 2D.
• Supporting the production process internally or with suppliers. You are involved in the complete process: from idea to complete product. Direct feedback between theory and practice.

Mechanical Engineer Job Requirements

As a Mechanical Engineer:

• You have a mechanical degree at Bachelors level.
• You have a minimum of two years work experience as a design engineer in (fine-) mechanics.
• You are skilful with 3D-drawing programs (preferably Solid Edge).
• Knowledge of vacuum technique, equipment and high voltage is preferred.
• As a result-oriented team player you ask the right questions and are a good listener.
