In Drunen, Wärtsilä has a Technology and Service Center (T&SC) supporting a large part of the Wärtsilä product portfolio.
This positions is located in the Technical Services organization within T&SC Drunen, which focuses on the total propulsion product range.
The Hydraulic Expert is responsible for:
• The development and improvement of hydraulic systems for retrofit and upgrade purposes of propulsion systems on board ships;
• Performance analysis, condition analysis, and trouble-shooting on hydraulic systems in propulsion plants;
• Contribute to product improvement activities of the various propulsion products.
The Hydraulic Expert is part of an expert team that deals daily with high-quality technical analysis, support and development in the field of propulsion systems. Core competence areas within Technical Services are mechanics, vibration analysis, hydrodynamics, metallurgy, control and embedded control systems.
