Lead Process Design Engineer
This position is based in Amsterdam

Your formula for success: 
• Determine and supervise compliance with the starting points and scope of each project, in consultation with the project manager and program manager.
• Prepare basic process design packages including design calculation and equipment definition, leading to approval of key drawings/documents.
• Provide support to process engineering related design issues during construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate and plan the activities of the process design team.
• Define competency standards of the Process Engineering Discipline. Support the skill development of the Process Design Group.
• Keep abreast of new developments in process engineering technology.
• Develop and maintain process engineering design standards, and adapt the standards based on operational experience and new technologies.
• Keep abreast of regulations to meet legal requirements with respect to safety, health and environment.

Lead Process Design Engineer Job Requirements

Elements in your background: 
• Permitted to work in Europe
• Technical University degree in Process Technology
• A minimum of four years of experience in a project supervising role
• Knowledge of Front End Process design, commissioning, and start-up 
• Structured and a planner by nature 
• Pro-active, getting-things-done and positive attitude
• Flexible, able to multi-task
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in both English and Dutch highly desired
• Operational, Solids Handling and/or catalyst production knowledge are considered a benefit
