Project Manager Job Description
The Project Manager is the central point of contact for the management of the OE orders. The Project Manager determines the project plan and executes the project in accordance to proper risk assessments supported by the different functional departments (Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Engineering). The Project Manager operates within a virtual front line unit with team members from the functional departments within a matrix set-up. The incumbent reports directly to the CSOF Director.
- Responsible for the financial risks of the project (NCR`s);
- Execute projects according to contractual scope of supply, quality, within budget and on time;
- Responsible for executing the project process in accordance with project planning, phase gates and defined quality levels;
- Responsible for achieving cash flow targets of projects;
- Coordinate correct document handling in compliance with software requirements to customers;
- Maintain proper relations with customer's Purchasing, Expediting, Engineering and Inspection personnel to set a good and proper company image to the customer;
- Participate in improvement programs, such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
Project Manager Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Industrial Engineering ;
- Knowledge of the petrochemical industry;
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience, whereof 3 years as a Project Manager within the pump, packaging or related industry.
