Supply Chain Engineer
Redesigning, executing and implementing integrated supply chain solutions to solve complex logistic problems 

Your job
You redesign and improve regular supply chains and production lines, and ensure new supply chain processes are implemented. You analyze supply chain business processes, and identify and initiate opportunities for improvement. Together with external suppliers you redesign processes or translate improvements into solutions by defining and realizing the optimal logistic flow ensuring materials and parts are available at the right time, with the right quality and against appropriate costs. You manage supplier relations in cooperation with Procurement, monitoring policies and agreements. 

During regular production you are responsible for demand planning and forecasting, supply performance, inventory and product availability for different production lines; ensuring targets with respect to stock- and delivery performance are realized in the short and long term. You are ‘linking pin’ between Canon’ Supply Chain Organizations, internal stakeholders (e.g. Production or Quality Assurance) and external suppliers ensuring product availability against agreed business policies. For all involved stakeholders you are main point of contact.

Who are we looking for?
• Bachelor degree Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or comparable;
• About 3-5 years relevant working experience in supply chain projects, production planning and/or managing supplier relations;
• Proven knowledge of (operational) supply chain business concepts and processes is required, as well as knowledge of SAP and Lean Manufacturing;
• You a strong organizing and planning, in cooperating with different internal and external stakeholders and coming up with smart solutions for complex problems; 
• You are driven by results and you have strong analyzing skills;
• Profound knowledge of Dutch and English, verbal and written;
• Recide in the Netherlands.

Context of the position
Within Manufacturing & Logistics organization in Venlo all supply chain disciplines are organized, think of planning and inventory control, spare parts and reverse logistics. With your team you take care of the logistic concepts and processes around the production and distribution of Océ printing systems and related products like toners / inks and spare parts. Together you work over different Océ-sites, aligning supply chain processes, ensuring availability of products worldwide for the Canon Sales Regions and customers.
