Systems & Applications Engineer - EU OEM Job Description
In the course of providing our biggest key OEM custom-ers with the best technical support, we have an opening for experienced Engineers for our European System & Application Engineering organisation (SAE-EU-OEM). This position plays a vital part in our European Sales and Mar- keting organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply and validate application solutions based upon all Danfoss Power Solutions mobile hydraulic and electronic control products across the whole range
- Direct customer contact and responsibility for tech-nical matters.
- Ensure support of application projects to support OEM customers, following standard work and inter-nal processes
- Systems support ranges from - technical specifications,- system design and sizing, - software control solutions, - on-site support and troubleshooting.
- Communicate and provide the voice of the respec-tive OEM customers by sharing current and future technical mobile market needs with the SAE-EU team members and other stakeholders
- Provide OEM specific trainings of mobile hydraulic systems
- Continuously develop her/his application, product and vehicle knowledge towards the changing market trends and needs
Systems & Applications Engineer - EU OEM Job Requirements
- Successfully completed degree, preferably as quali-fied Electrical Engineer, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineer; a minimum level equivalent to BSc, or with a proven relevant engineering background within hydraulics and/or electronics will be considered.
- Knowledge and experience of application engineer-ing and ideally mobile off-road applications
- Proven track record of Project Management skills
- Ability to discuss new applications in detail directly with existing key OEM customers
- Knowledge of Software control solutions, communcation technology and measurement and analysis
- Know-how of hydraulic measurement and analysis
- Professional English language skills, both oral and written are mandatory, any other European language is an advantage
- Team player mentality and willingness to travel.
