(Technical) Sales Account Manager Automotive Job Description

Vernay is seeking for enthusiastic candidates to apply for the position of (Technical) Sales Account Manager Automotive. You will be responsible for managing the relationships between assigned customer accounts in the automotive industry and the growing Vernay Europa B.V. organization. Within the guidelines of the corporate strategic plan you have the objective to achieve and initiate an active contribution to a mutual lasting satisfaction and business growth. You are responsible for the positive development of sales and profits within the assigned European accounts complemented with a number of predefined prospects. In this position you will participate in the global automotive sales team and have a direct report to the Global Automotive Business Unit Manager. 

• To understand the strategies and needs of the assigned key and prospect customers
• To define the account strategy to maximize Vernay revenue and mutual lasting satisfaction of the customer in the cooperation with Vernay
• To represent the customer specific needs and requirements inside the Vernay organization
• Identify new accounts and growth opportunities, analyze specific needs and transform in commercial success
• Management of account sales and margin
• Coordination and leading Vernay activities for/at the customer
• Being commercial responsible during the development process and the subsequent (multi-annual) production
• Manage business risk by anticipating future obstacles at all project stages
• Contract review

(Technical) Sales Account Manager Automotive Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Technical Business Administration or a technical faculty,
• At least 3 years of equivalent commercial work experience in an international technical business to business environment,
• Languages: Dutch, English and German
