Quality Manager Job Description

Vernay is seeking for enthusiastic candidates to apply for the position of Quality Manager. You will be responsible for managing and giving direction to Quality Management, Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director Operations.  

• Translating (strategic) company objectives into quality oriented challenges and implementing these successfully within the organization
• Organizing the department in a way that internal and external needs and requirements are being addressed
• Making an assessment of the current quality management system and re-design this system where needed.
• Ensuring effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions, based on audits, customer complaints, etc
• Managing and encouraging the team members in their development
• Support process owners in improving quality performance

Quality Manager Job Requirements

• Minimum bachelor degree (HBO / Mechanical Engineering), preferably with certified Black Belt as an addition
• At least 5 years of equivalent quality manager experience in an international technical business to business environment. Knowledge and experience in the Automotive Industry is strongly preferable (ISO TS 16949, VDA 6.3)
• Languages: Dutch and English, and preferably German
