Recruiter Job Description

The European Recruiting & Staffing Department is responsible for defined short-term and long-term corporate recruiting activities for professionals positions based in Europe and providing advice for local para-professionals recruitment. The current team has 1 recruiter and 1 recruitment support officers (including contractors). ~80% of professionals recruitment is for positions based in the Netherlands, for this reason all team members are based in the Netherlands, other countries are supported remotely.
 
THE CHALLENGE

• Execute SABIC Europe’s Recruitment and Selection processes.
• Contribute to implementation of Employer branding strategy and Talent Acquisition policies.
• Role with higher education level and more complex talent acquisition activities.
• Responsibility for Talent Community, drawing long-term Recruitment plan with both short- and long-term perspective.

• Develop sourcing plans together with line mgt., HR mgt. and recruiting team to attract talent for the long and short term.
• Organize and execute recruitment and selection processes according to the agreed recruitment process (recruitment handbook, e-recruitment system).
• Prepare candidates with company information and the selection procedure. Inform candidates during all stages of the selection process on their status.
• Building knowledge on the effectiveness of sourcing channels (job boards, advertisements, networks, etc.) in order to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the recruitment process.
• Conduct research on relevant labour market developments.
• Develop a network with universities, peer companies, search & selection agencies.          
• Translate job description into recruitment profiles, challenge line management and HR management on achievability of demand and agreed start date of new staff.
• Organize company visits, present SABIC Europe at Educational Institutes and Job fairs for relevant target groups.
• Act as an account manager for a defined group of internal clients, share relevant developments regarding recruitment with the internal client. Engage internal client in getting committed to a professional recruitment process. 

Recruiter Job Requirements

YOUR PROFILE

• You have ~ 2-5 years of work experience
• A technical background (bachelor or Master degree (e.g. mechanical or chemical engineering, business administration) or experience with technical recruiting is preferred .
