Head of Engineering / Automotive Job Description

You will be send to our client in the Southeast Asian region, where you will perform the following tasks at the production site:

• To act locally in the function of a technical guide and you are also the interface to the headquarters in Germany, where you will report directly to the management.
• You play a decisive role in the development of the technical environment of a new production line and you are a competent contact for all technical issues and questions around the themes manufacturing equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Also, you are responsible for the smooth operation of the machinery as well as for the supervision and training of the new employees on site.
• It is your task to ensure that the specified manufacturing standards and quality guidelines are adhered to.

Head of Engineering / Automotive Job Requirements

For this position, you bring with you:

• University degree, majoring in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical and process engineering
• Several years of relevant work experience in an industrial environment (preferably automotive supply industry)
• Strong knowledge in process management of automated manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills to motivate management skills including the ability to develop your employees and
• Cosmopolitanism and affinity for Asian culture / lifestyle
• High level of initiative, perseverance and problem solving skills
• Excellent language skills in English (fluent)
