ASML - DE EUV – Supply Chain Engineer for EUV Optical column Job Description

As an ASML supplier engineer in the EUV Imaging and Control development department you will be operating in a fast paced and multidisciplinary environment as a member of the projection and illumination projects.

As a supplier engineer you will maintain and develop at an operational level the relation to the supplier with the purpose to create optimal engineering collaboration between supplier and ASML.
Using your in-depth technical knowledge, analytical thinking, political antenna and people skills you will work closely together with the supplier and the ASML development teams to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the product generation within the projects.

Job Description
You will be the central responsible to assure proper supplier involvement in the delivery of the projection and illumination systems. Main responsibilities:

• Ensure manufacturability and  serviceability aspects are covered in the specification phase of projects, contribute to a weighed balance of manufacturability and performance aspects in the course of the project
• Contribute to definitions of roles and responsibilities between ASML and supplier in the projects
• Co-define and maintain product acceptance criteria (incl measurement methods), handle acceptance of deliveries and organize for resolutions in case of deviations from these criteria
• Initiate, support and monitor resolution processes at supplier for structural issues, initiate and organize support from ASML side if needed.
• Contribute to supplier development to improve operational excellence:
• drive execution of existing agreements
• generate new ideas for further improvements
• introduce at an operational level new agreements

Bachelor or Masters degree in physics / optics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or related.

Experience
Experience (>5 years) in high-tech industry with a focus on / clear contributions in complex supplier management.
