Product Manager Biomaterials Job Description
The Job
You would be primarily responsible to set up & tactically oversee Product Management of the Leader group & its companies – for the Biomaterials portfolio. Specifically the eTiss, eColl & eNova line of products. The Product Manager Biomaterials is reporting to the Business Director and works out of the Amsterdam office, travel up to 25%-40%.
Responsibilities
- Provide direction, insight and planning for marketing activities of new and existing product lines.
- Analyze, develop and introduce product opportunities that ensure global success of product line.
- Forecasting sales volumes and financial budgets.
- Developing sales tools and preparing and delivering presentations to Sales/Division management.
- Building customer relationships and identify business opportunities for growth.
- Developing market- and business plans, developing all aspects of product management responsibilities.
- Participating in or leading Project Teams, special projects as assigned.
- Steer and contribute on the scientific & technical marketing of the products on various platforms (brochure, symposium, website, social media etc.).
- Ability to conduct workshops, trainings, on product demonstrations with distributors and surgeons.
- Management of Leader’s KOL network, distributors & setting up of new KOL’s.
Product Manager Biomaterials Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in a science based study. PhD / MBA is a plus
- Min. 5 years of product management experience. Experience in an international role, in a top 20 medtech company is highly preferred.
- Domain knowledge of biomaterials for applications in orthopedic, dental and/or trauma field. Domain knowledge of wound care and cardio is a plus.
- Possesses a KOL network and global distributor network.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills. Other (European) languages is a plus (i.e. French, Spanish or Russian).
Profile- Demonstrated experience in strong team contributing, leadership capabilities, solid analytical ability and business acumen.
- Stakeholder managing experience & experience in working on strategic as well as tactical levels
- Ability to ideate, develop and present arguments for implementation of strategy with relevant stakeholders
- Self-starter, dynamic, driven and ability to multi task on various projects & perform in a dynamic business environment
- Ability to travel and limited availability after conventional office hours
- Motivated to learn & continuously improve.
