Commissioning Engineer Job Description

Commissioning Engineer for the specialist in industrial automation software engineering. Would you like to support the technical service at two locations in Berlin? Are you willing to put yourself completely on location in Berlin and you are also commercial and creative? Then we are looking for you!

Responsibilities Commissioning Engineer
As a Commissioning Engineer you will be fully deployed on location in Berlin and you will get your own workstation at the client. The client has a multi-year plan with approved budgets to bring the location to a very high degree of automation. The choice of the DCS system is Siemens PCS7. In addition, there is a very close cooperation with the customer's own plant IT controller who realizes the link for all production lines with their own MES system

Your tasks are o.a .:

• project management
• DCS, SCADA, and Software Engineering
• commissioning
• Documenting / report
• Conducting (sub) projects by location
• Solving automation failures
• Support or troubleshoot electrical faults

Commissioning Engineer Job Requirements

Requirements Commissioning Engineer
You will take independent decisions since the company does not have an office in Berlin. The relationship with the customer is used as a starting point to build the new facility. Someone of the MT or sales will visit the location on a regular basis, to discuss progress and opportunities.

You must meet the following requirements:

• HBO (Bachelors) Technical field or equivalent experience
• Safety for Operational Supervisors (SCC)
• Sufficiently Trained Person NEN 3140

• Simatic S7
• Simatic HMI
• Simatic PCS7

• Proficiency in German language, spoken and written
• Controlling of Englisch Language, spoken and written
• Controlling of Dutch Language is plus
• good communication skills
• Very able to work independently
• Representative
• Can methodical work
• Can operate in a team
• Has an overview of the business
